What a lot of people may not realize, sno-parks are more than just that.  They are miles of massive, well-marked intertwining trail systems with endless route possibilities.  The best part is, they are open all year to multiple transportation options.  Yesterday, I packed up my mountain bike and I took advantage of one of the sno-parks near Mt. Bachelor.  When I arrived at the park, I smiled when I saw that I had the whole place to myself.  I did not see another soul the rest of the morning.  Elevation 5450.

In the winter time, this place is very popular.

On-site public only in the winter.

Gateway to fun.

Heading up to one of the parks' multiple shelters...most of which are uphill and make you earn it.
Good for the ticker!

Beautiful views from the shelter of the Cascade Mountains.

Good-for-the soul therapy.

Second shelter of the morning.

More beautiful views

Mt. Bachelor

The 'Trek' did me right today.
